ABOUT OSU CREW
Determination, hard-work, and teamwork define what rowing is. The Crew program at Oklahoma State University is a university level club sport run and coached by students. When rowing at OSU, you truly are a student athlete. Rowing is a lifelong sport that builds discipine, teamwork, physical endurance, as well as personal enjoyment and a great sense of satisfaction; all are a critical part of an individual's development.
Founded in the early 1970's by several students, including Mike Knopp of Chesapeake Boathouse, who all shared the passion for rowing and is still carried on today by those students who also share that passion for rowing.
OSU Crew competively races against Big XII schools as well as other top colleges in the nation. Also, the Crew travels to Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, and Oklahoma City for various regattas.
The Crew practices at Lake Carl Blackwell Monday through Friday at 6 a.m.
